Do I need to be a CNO or Director to join?

• Not at all. All nurses who are in leadership positions or aspire to lead, be it as a charge nurse, a supervisor, team leader, or project manager are welcome to join. We believe all nurses are ‘leaders.’ Joining your professional leadership organization is a great way to meet other nurse leaders in the state and to work together on nursing issues in our state.

How will I find out what is happening with healthcare policy and nursing issues in New Mexico?

• It is our intent to reach out to nursing leaders and regional healthcare agencies through the Regional Directors and information via email, conference calls, and on-site meetings.
